OEM connections allow the Fleet Tracking Portal system to receive telematics data directly from a vehicle manufacturer’s factory-installed connected vehicle platform, eliminating the need for aftermarket tracking hardware. This option is ideal for fleets operating supported, telematics-enabled vehicles, helping reduce installation time and hardware costs while providing access to vehicle location, diagnostics, and other key fleet data. Depending on the manufacturer, data may be updated as frequently as every 30 seconds.
