Activating Ignition On/Off Alerts

Receive notifications when ignition on/off events occur by activating Ignition On/Off Alerts. Alerts are sent from the Manager App to any and all device(s) for which you are currently signed into the App. All alerts activated in the App are reflected in the Portal and can be managed like any alerts set up in the Portal.

The Manager App follows alert permissions configured in the Portal (i.e., only users who have permission to create alerts will be able to enable the alert from the App).

To activate the Ignition On/Off Alert:

  1. Tap Alert when this vehicle stops or Alert when this vehicle starts once to activate the alert for one-time notification.

The Alert icon appears in green and the text in green confirms that the alert will be sent once.

  1. Tap Alert when this vehicle stops or Alert when this vehicle starts again to activate the alert to send a notification every time the event occurs.

The Alert icon appears in blue and the text in blue confirms the alert will be sent every time the event occurs.

To disable the Ignition Off Alert:

  1. Tap Alert when this vehicle stops or Alert when this vehicle starts.

The icon and text revert to black and the Alert is disabled.

If you selected to receive the notification once, you are required to tap again to change the notification to send every time, then tap once more to disable the alert.

Creating a Landmark

The Manager App allows you to create a landmark from the vehicle card. The landmark you create will be added to the landmark group that you have permission to manage and is reflected in the Portal.

If a driver is assigned to a vehicle, you can then search for the driver in the app. You may also change a driver assigned to a vehicle. Starring Vehicles

Vehicles can be starred in the app wherever there is an empty star displayed next to the vehicle name.

To filter the map by starred vehicle(s):

Details including Trip Start, Duration, Average Speed, Distance and a map view from the vehicle’s most recent trip within the past three days is displayed under Recent Vehicle History.

The map view includes trip start () and stop () indicators.

History detail provides insight into a vehicle’s individual trip activity (ignition on to ignition off) and stop duration between trips. Historical trails provide a snapshot of all vehicle activity (one or multiple) for the last hour, represented in a single trail. History trails do not distinguish between a vehicle’s individual trip activity.

To view history detail on the map:

  1. From the vehicle card, tap Trip History.

The past five days of history detail appears. (You can load prior trips as needed.) Each trip activity includes total miles, average speed, start time/location (Green), stop time/location (Red), and idle events (Blue), if any.

  1. Tap a trip to view trip activity on a map.
  2. Tap a history point to view details about that point.

  1. Tap Back to return to the history detail.
  2. Tap Back to return to the vehicle card.

To view history trails on the map (one vehicle):

  1. From the vehicle card, tap Trail.

If the vehicle logged movement within the last hour, the vehicle’s cumulative activity is represented by a green trail.

To turn off the history trail for a vehicle, tap Trail from the vehicle card again.

To view history trails on the map (multiple vehicles):

  1. Tap the Menu icon ().
  2. Tap Trail All Vehicles.

If the selected vehicles on the map have logged movement within the last hour, each vehicle’s cumulative activity is represented by a colored trail. If you have selected to trail a vehicle from the vehicle card, the activity will be represented by a light green trail.

If you have a large number of vehicles on the map, you may want to filter the map by a particular vehicle group (or individually starred) before turning on all history trails. If you do not see any history trails on the map, the selected vehicles have not updated their locations in the last hour.

To turn off all vehicle trails, tap the Menu icon, and tap Trail All Vehicles again.
