Connect Tablet app updates begin automatically when the tablet is connected to Wi-Fi. If there are any updates available, they are installed silently in the background. Once updated, you can manually verify the updates by completing the steps below.
You can identify a Connect Tablet by the serial number, which always begins with 089.
Please make sure the driver has gone Off Duty and has logged completely out of the ELD Complete app before starting the update process. This is done to ensure no log data is lost.
Verifying Connect Tablet Updates
To update a tablet and confirm ELD Complete is up to date:
- Connect the tablet to Wi-Fi by tapping Settings from the home screen.
- From here, tap WLAN.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on and connect to Wi-Fi network.
- Wait about 5-10 minutes for the updates to complete.
- To verify if the application has updated automatically in the background, go to Home Screen > Settings > Apps then select the ELD Complete app and ensure the version number is the most up-to date.
The most current app version of the ELD Complete App is 254.1.
If the updates have not completed after 10 minutes on Wi-Fi, please contact Support and Support will manually trigger updates, if necessary.
