Driver Scorecard Report: New Enhancements
We are excited to introduce valuable enhancements to the Driver Scorecard Report with enhanced metrics and more robust customization options.
The Driver Scorecard Report is only available to Enterprise customers or customers with the Driver Management add-on.
What is Launching?
Enhanced Metrics
- Unbuckled Seatbelt Calculation Options: Previously, seatbelt violations were calculated based on the total duration of time spent driving unbuckled. Now, users can choose to calculate violations by the count of trips taken without a seatbelt, providing more flexibility in how this behavior is tracked and scored.
- Sustained Speeding Violations (NEW): Users now have the option to not count speeding events unless the speeding behavior exceeds a specified duration threshold. The default threshold is set to 30 seconds, helping to filter out brief or incidental speed spikes and focus on more meaningful events.
Customizable Weights
Master Admin users can now customize account-wide default settings for the Driver Scorecard report, such as metric weighting, sustained speed calculations, and Unbuckled Seatbelt violations. These customized defaults will automatically apply every time the report is run by any user within the same account.
While these values are set at the account level by the master admin, individual users can still adjust them within the report after it is run, providing flexibility without disrupting standard reporting defaults.
Benefits
- Consistent Reporting Across Users – Default settings set by the Master Admin ensure all users see standardized results when running the report.
- Sustained Speeding Insights – Focus on meaningful speeding events by filtering out brief speed spikes with a default 30-second threshold.
- Flexible Seatbelt Violation Tracking – Choose between tracking violations by total unbuckled time or by number of trips taken without a seatbelt.
- On-the-Fly Adjustments – Even with default settings in place, users can still modify report parameters after running it to dive deeper into specific behaviors.
