This Product Features and Updates announcement for GPS Insight Pro and Enterprise includes updates for Mobile, Administrative, and Reports.

Mobile

GPS Insight Manager App (Android) – Version 1.5.0

This update is now available from the Google Play Store and includes the following:

  • Dropped Pin Feature

    You can now drop a pin directly on the map and view details of the dropped pin.

  • Create a Landmark from Vehicle Card

    You can now create a landmark from a vehicle location and view details of the created landmark.

GPS Insight Manager App (iOS)– Version 1.47

This update is now available from the iTunes App Store and includes the following:

  • Interactive Street View

    From the Vehicle Detail Card, you can now tap Show full screen Street View to view a full screen interactive street view.

  • Landmark Card

    You may now view landmark details such as address, map view, and a list of assets closest to the selected landmark.

  • Dropped Pin Feature

    You may drop a pin right on the Map and view details of the dropped pin in the Dropped Pin Card.

Administrative

API Data – Stop Notes

Stop Notes data is now available to customers via Application Programming Interface (API). See GPS Insight API Reference Docs for instructions.

Vehicle List – Alternate Label Search

You may now search for a vehicle by its alternate label (if applicable) in the Vehicle List section of the Manage Vehicles and Groups page (Account >> Manage Vehicles >> Open) in the Portal.

Reports

Landmark Log Report – New Filter Option

The option to display visit data of vehicles passing through a landmark/group is now available.

This option is selected by default. If you would prefer to limit displayed data to visits with duration, uncheck the box next to Passing Through.

Fleet Hierarchy Rollup Report – Permission Requirement Removed

Non-hierarchy Administrator users can now access the Fleet Hierarchy Rollup Report without requiring permissions.

State Mileage Report – Start/End Odometer Data

Odometer data by vehicle is now limited to cumulative totals for that vehicle if the vehicle has traveled in more than one state for the range of time specified for the report.

If the vehicle has remained within one state, the Start/End Odometer data will be available.

Driver-Centric Reports Available

Did you know that you may now filter various GPS Insight reports by driver? Well, now you know! Available driver-centric reports are as follows:

  • Activity Detail
  • Drive Time Summary
  • Fuel Usage Summary
  • Speed Violations
  • Speed Summary
  • Posted Speed Violations
  • Accel/Decel Summary
