Attributes allow you to add custom, descriptive properties to your vehicles, drivers, landmarks, users, and hierarchy nodes (if available). You can then use attributes as labels on reports and filters on maps and dashlets (e.g., show only vehicles with a tow capacity of 2000+lbs or only drivers with a CDL certification).

Using Hierarchy Attributes
