ELD Flex & Focus Update – Android May 2020

This Release Notes announcement is for ELD Flex and Focus Android users.

What’s New

DVIR Screen

Elapsed Time: Now available at the bottom of the DVIR screen when doing an inspection.

Account Property (hos.dvir.inspectallequipment): Now available, and set to False by default on the Portal > Account Settings page > Account Properties tab.

  • If the value is set to True, this will allow the driver to inspect the vehicle and attached trailers at the same time.
  • All inspected vehicle and trailers’ Names, VINs, License Plates & License Plate States will be displayed on a PDF including the tables of each equipment inspection.

DVIR PDF

Certified tab: Start Time and Date have been replaced with the End Time and Date.

Malfunctions and Diagnostics

The following Malfunctions and Diagnostics are now cleared automatically, and the Clear and Clear All buttons have been removed:

  • Engine Synchronization Data Diagnostic
  • Engine Synchronization Compliance Malfunction
  • Timing Compliance Malfunction
  • Data Recording Malfunction
  • Missing Required Data Elements Data Diagnostic

Manage Vehicles/Trailers Screen

You can how hide the ‘Use GPS Odometer’ option upon adding/editing an equipment.

  • Addition of 10 hours Off Duty Violation when using Canada cycle
Fuel Receipts

The Gallon field name has been updated to Gallons.

Roadside Inspection Screen and Certified Driver’s Daily Log PDF

The following remarks are now hidden when the ‘Show All’ checkbox is unchecked:

  • Cleared Diagnostic/Malfunction
  • Authenticate/Unauthenticate
  • DVIR Not Performed/ DVIR Completed
  • Certified Log
  • VBUS Connect/Disconnect
  • Start of Day Odometer
  • Start/End Toll Road
  • Off Road/On-Road
Data Transfer > ELD CSV Output File

The following remarks are now hidden when the ‘Show All’ checkbox is unchecked:

  • Cleared Diagnostic/Malfunction
  • Authenticate/Unauthenticate
  • DVIR Not Performed/ DVIR Completed
  • Certified Log
  • VBUS Connect/Disconnect
  • Start of Day Odometer

Main Dashboard > Start Break

The option for a 1-hour break has been added to the break type options.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the ELD Malfunction and Data Diagnostic Indicators values are displayed as ‘No’ even if there are recorded Malfunctions and Diagnostics
  • Fixed an issue where the Change Current Status dialog is not dismissing when the lock screen displays
  • Fixes on UI issues when app is in night/day mode
  • Fixed an issue where invalid violations occurs after removing the exception: Relief from Driving rules for State of Emergency – 390.23
  • Fixed an issue where the last event (Off Duty) was not being included on the Certified log report.
